Multitasking....

Hi everyone

Had a busy weekend putting together a Flip Flop Album for a very special friend of the family. I hope they like it!

I wasn't sure if I was going to have time to do the Just Add Ink Challenge this week as I had the album to complete and a class to prepare for. So in the end I decided to combine the Challenge with one of my Gift Card Class projects, Multitasking at its best!!

The Challenge was a Colour Challenge this week, here are the colours......

I am really enjoying these Colour Challenges as they are generally colours I wouldn't use together as a rule and sadly, I don't think I have ever used Always Artichoke!!

So here is my entry, it is a Top Note Gift Card Holder...

and the inside........

Stamp Sets: Teeny Tiny Sentiments
Cardstock & Ink: Kraft Cardstock, Rose Red Cardstock, Very Vanilla Cardstock, Always Artichoke Cardstock, Raspberry Tart DSP, Rose Red Ink
Accessories: 2 Step Bird Punch, Top Note Die (Big Shot), Circles Die (Big Shot), 3/4" Circle Punch, Word Window Punch

TFL!!

Happy Baby Shower Stace!!

I had a child free day on Friday (Yay!) and spent the day in front of the TV making baby shower invites for a good friend :) It was quite relaxing really!!

I made the baby onsie card, which I have seen in many places but I think I originally saw it on Lauren Meader's blog

I kept this one pretty simple. I have been known to do these with handmade buttons on the crotch and faux (or real) stitching all over! I had to make 20 of these though, so I kept it low key and I really like the way it turned out :) I got to play with the Tiny Tags set (20% OFF THIS MONTH!!!) for the first time and I LOVE IT!!!

Stamp Set: Tiny Tags

Cardstock & Inks: Whisper White cardstock, Pretty in Pink Cardstock, Sweet Always DSP, Pretty in Pink Ink

Accessories: Medium Jewellery Tag punch, 1-3/8" Circle Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, Heart from Timeless Type Junior Alphabet Dies (Big Shot)

Hope you enjoyed your weekend :)

Some more cards to share...

After my scrap weekend with my friends last weekend I have HEAPS to show you but haven't managed to photograph it all yet. I will soon I promise!!

In the meantime, here is some other new cards to keep you going :)

This first card was the one I made for my wonderful hubby for our 5 year wedding anniversary :)

Stamps: Pendant Park, Occassions for all (Hostess Set), Occassional Greetings
Cardstock: Kraft, Ridinghood Red, Whisper White
Inks & Accessories: Chocolate Chip Ink, Old Olive Ink, Ridinghood Red Ink, 1-1/4" Circle Punch, 1-3/8" Circle Punch, Top Note Die (Big Shot)

The next one was inspired by a card I saw on Splitcoast Stampers which I can't find now!! So thankyou to whoever it was!

I LOVE this card, I think it is perfect for a male card and could be lovely if you change the colours to make it more feminine :) I have made multiple copies of this card and changed the sentiment on each one - so easy to do with Teeny Tiny Sentiments!!

Oh and if you look closely you can see that the medallion stamp has been clear embossed which just gives it a bit more oomph!!

Stamp Set: Medallion Stamp, Teeny Tiny Sentiments

Cardstock: Baja Breeze, Sahara Sand, Not Quite Navy, Whisper White

Inks & Accessories: Not Quite Navy Ink, Baja Breeze Ink, Versamark, Clear Embossing Powder, Top Note Die (Big Shot), Lots of Tags Sizzlets (Big Shot), Silver Brads, Word Window Punch

Last one, this was another card I thought would be good as a masculine card.

Stamp Sets: Pendant Park, Best Yet (Hostess Set)

Cardstock: Sage Shadow, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla

Ink & Accessories: Sage Shadow Ink, Chocolate Chip Ink, Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder (Big Shot), 1-3/8" Circle Punch , Circles #2 Orginals Die (Big Shot)

Ok, thats it for me for now. I will try to come back with some more stuff soon.
Oh and please excuse my strange looking blog, I am in the middle of renovating :)

Enjoy the rest of your week

It's Mother's Day Hop-Hop Hooray!!!

Sorry for the corny title but it's late when I am doing this post!! Couldn't help myself!!
Yes, another Blog Hop! I had so much fun with the last one I decided to join in on another!

This is another Blog Hop through ESAD. For those who don't know ESAD stands for Extra Special Australian (and New Zealand) Demonstrators and it is an online group for Australian and new Zealand Demonstrators of Stampin' Up!

We so love what we do and not only do we share what we love with our customers, friends and wonderful blog visitors but we share our love of what we do with each other as Demonstraotrs. We run swaps, challenges, tutorials, product know how and Cyberstamps and are always there to help and support each other when it's needed.

So if you are a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand then please feel free to click here to join our wonderful group .

You should have just come from Angela Purdie's blog. Weren't her creations lovely?

Now, to show you the things I created for this Mother's Day theme. We focused on the Big Shot and let me say that the Big Shot is definately something worth focusing on!! I am having a ball creating things with my Big Shot!!

So, the first thing I decided to to do is a card using the Movers & Shapers Curly Label Die. This is a great die that cuts out an entire card and has a curly label that you can move around and put it wherever you like on the front of the card. Oh and in true Stampin' Up! fashion it co-ordinates with the curly label punch from the catalogue. I also used the great new set from the mini called Teeny Tiny Sentiments. Loving this one, its so versatile!

The pink Curly Label is actually inside the card and you can view it through the window created by the Big Shot die. Cool, huh?!

Stamp Set: Teeny Tiny Sentiments
Cardstock: Rose Red, Gold, Pretty in Pink, Bella Rose DSP
Inks: Rose Red
Accessories: Movers & Shapers Curly Label Die, Gold Brads

Next is a card using the Top Note Die and the new In Colours. I am loving the quilted cards right now, so simple but I think they look so effective.

Stamp Set: Occassional Greetings
Cardstock: Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White, Cottage Wall DSP
Inks: Rich Razzleberry
Accessories: White gel pen, 1 1/4" square punch, top note die

This cute little box was made using the Pillow Box Die and a sheet of acetate. Doesn't it look cute!! It has been embellished with the Vintage Vogue stamp set which you will know from my last blog hop is my new FAVOURITE stamp set!!

Stamp Set: Vintage Vogue
Cardstock: Whisper White, Rich Razzleberry, Cottage Wall DSP
Inks: Rich Razzleberry
Accessories: Half Pearl (Pretties Kit), acetate sheets, Pillow Box die

Last but not least is a basket I made using the scallop envelope die. All you do is cut out 4 scallop envelopes and join them together!! Another versatile die!! I have filled it with items I thought would be appropriate for Mother's Day but you could fill it with anything you like :)

Stamp Set: None
Cardstock: Rich Razzleberry, Cottage Wall DSP
Inks: None
Accessories: Rich Razzleberry Spotted Grosgrain, Brads

Now if you do make it around all of the blogs and leave comments on all of them you are then in the running for some Blog Candy! Yes we have blog candy! There will be two winners – one from New Zealand and one from Australia. All you have to do is to visit and comment on each of the blogs in todays blog hop and then send an email to the lovely Sharlene and advise that you have commented on all the blogs and give her your name, email and tell her whether you are from Australia or New Zealand.

Well that's it from me, next up is Nicki Turner. Go and check out what Nicki has created here

Enjoy your weekend and HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!

It's a Blog Hop!!

Good Morning Everyone!!

Welcome to my very first ESAD Blog Hop!! I am so excited as I have hopped on a lot of these but never been involved in one myself!! Better go and grab yourself a cuppa as this could take a while! You would have just enjoyed Linda Craven's creations but there is lots more in store for you!!

What is ESAD you say?? ESAD stands for Extra Special Australian (and New Zealand) Demonstrators and it is an online group for Australian and new Zealand Demonstrators of Stampin' Up!

Demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand then please feel free to click here here to join our wonderful group

And now, on with the show!!!!!!!!!!

I hope you like my projects using 2 of the 3 new In Colours from the Autumn-Winter Mini Catalogue and my new favourite stamp set Vintage Vogue :)

This was my first attempt at stamping with the new Clear Mount stamps and I will say I LOVED IT!!! I have used acrylic stamps for years and this doesn't compare. Easy to get on and off, holds while cleaning, allows easier placement and the block is fabulous!! So much easier than other clear blocks I have used! I won't say I am a complete convert but the space saving is another nudge in the right direction!

Here are two cards that just created themselves as soon as I got this set in my hot little hands!!

Stamp Set: Vintage Vogue
Cardstock: Rich Razzleberry, Melon mambo, Very Vanilla
Inks: Rich Razzleberry
Accessories: Melon Mambo Polka-Dot Grosgrain Ribbon, Rhinestone Brads (from Pretties Kit)

Stamp Set: Vintage Vogue
Cardstock: Rich Razzleberry, Pale Plum, Very Vanilla
Inks: Rich Razzleberry
Accessories: Rich Razzleberry Polka-Dot Grosgrain Ribbon, Crystal BRad and Vanilla half pearls (both from Pretties Kit)

Another exciting thing about the new mini catalogue is the arrival of the Big Shot!!! I am absolutely loving mine and one of my favourite dies would have to be the Top Note Die which I have used on the next card.....

Stamp Sets: Vintage Vogue, Occassional Greetings
Cardstock: Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry, Very Vanilla
Ink: Rich Razzleberrry
Accessories: Rich Razzleberry Polka-Dot grosgrain Ribbon, Top Note Die for Big Shot

Well that's it from me but we are again offering Blog Candy for our Blog Hop. What you need to do is complete the Blog Hop until you get back to me. Once you've visited and commented on every blog then you will need to email Sharlene at stampwithsharlene@hotmail.com who will then put your name in the draw for the Blog Candy. There will be one winner from New Zealand and one winner from Australia. Please note Stampin' Up! Demonstrators are not eligible to win the Blog Candy.

So start hopping by visiting the next blog which is the lovely Lisa Ryder :)

Enjoy!!

It's here!! Check out the Autumn-Winter Mini Catalogue!

I am excited!! Are you excited??? The new Autumn-Winter Mini catalogue is live and with it all the new exciting products!!

Like the Big Shot *EEEK*!! Trust me, everybody needs a Big Shot!!

Isn't it lovely!! You should see all the things it can do and all the dies you can get for it!! I can come and show you all of this and more, so email me or phone me to organise your Big Shot Workshop :)

Then we also have the gorgeous new Clear Mount Stamps with the slim & trim new storage cases!! The same size as a regular DVD case, cool huh?!
The clear blocks are the same shape and design as the regular Stampin' Up! wooden blocks so give you a lovely grip to help place your stamps. PLUS once you have the blocks you can save yourself money on your sets as the Clear Mount sets are a fair bit cheaper! Don't worry though if you like the wooden blocks, you will have the option of either for most of the stamps in this catalogue :)

BUT WAIT....THERE'S MORE!!!

New Punch Designs!!

The new slimline designs of the punches make them much easier to store. Do you see the theme??? Storage solutions to make room for your new Big Shot ;D

So check out the new catalogue (especially the new In Colours and Brand New Hostess Sets!) and I hope to be back soon with some card ideas using product from the new catalogue. Provided my camera co-operates!

Dont' forget about the ESAD Blog hop either, there is one today starting with Andrea Buckland and another starting on 7th April in which I will be involved. So come and check it out!!

Happy Easter everyone!!

Lisa
