Ok, I'm back!! And with something to show you!!

It is soooo like me to start a blog then post monthly, so I am really going to try hard to post more often than that. I PROMISE!!!

I have done some sample cards for my workshops so I thought I would upload them here in case anybody needed inspiration :)

So here they are (apologies for the bad photos, they didn't upload well).............

This was one of the cards I did for my first workshop. It uses Purely Pomegranite and Wild Wasabi textured cardstock. The stamp set is 'Season of Joy' from the Spring Mini Catalogue. The image is embossed using Versamark and the clear embossing powder. I have also done some faux stitching using the mat pack and white pen. It was really easy and looks quite effective!

This card is done almost entirely from components of the 'Secret Garden' Simply Scrappin' Kit. The textured cardstock is Old Olive and River Rock. The rest of the components are self-adhesive die cuts and a Rhinestone Brad thrown in for good luck ;D The flower in the top left corner is from the Baroque Motifs set stamped in Old Olive Ink on River Rock cardstock.

This card is also mainly Secret Garden Simply Scrappin components. The patterened paper and self adhesive die-cuts are all part of the kit. The cardstock is Old Olive textured (also part of teh kit) and the ribbon is Certainly Celerey 1/4" grosgrain.

This was the second card I did for my first workshop. It is using my absolute FAVOURITE stamp set, Baroque Motifs. The cardstock is Purely Pomegranite textured cardstock (another favourite) and the image uses Versamark and clear embossing powder. The 'Merry Christmas' is from the Seasons of Joy set (from the Spring mini) and it is stamped in Purely Pomegranite Ink. Ribbon is Whisper White 1/4" grosgrain

This card is using the Heartfelt Thanks 2 step stampin' set. I am actually quite fond of this set even though I didn't think it was 'my thing'. The cardstocks are Purely Pomegranite and Old Olive. The 'cherish' stamp is from the Baroque Motifs set. The ribbon is Very Vanilla 1/4" grosgrain.

This card is a complete CASE from page 77 of the Ideas Book & Catalogue. I just LOVED the way it used the Garden Whimsey Set. Cardstock is Soft Sky, Old Olive and Whisper White. Inks are Soft Sky, Purely Pomegranite and Old Olive. I used a self adhesive border strip from the Secret Garden Simply Scrappin Kit to do the border at the bottom.

This, again, uses my favourite set Baroque Basics. I have a feeling you will be seeing a lot of this stamp set, lol! The textured cardstock and patterened paper is from the Secret Garden Simply Scrappin Kit (I am gettin a WHOLE lot of milege out of this kit!). Colours are River Rock and Old Olive. Ink is Old Olive and Purely Pomegranite. Ribbon is Certainly Celery 1/4" grosgrain.

Here I am using the Heartfelt Thanks set again on Perfect Plum carstock. I have run the Garden Annuals Wheel over the carstock with Perfect Plum ink to give it some detail. Mounting cardstock is Old Olive and the ribbon is Elegant Eggplant 1/4" grosgrain. Ink is Old Olive and Lovely Lilac

This card uses Figures of Speech which was my very first Stampin' Up! stamp set (before I became a demonstrator). This set is so versatile. I have used Itty Bitty Backgrounds on Purely Pomegranite Cardstock and then used Cameo Coral Cardstock with the matpack to do some piercing for detail.

I would love to hear any comments you have :)

Tomorrow I will try to upload all the Stampin' Up! catalogues etc, so bear with me!!

Until next time

So far I have only managed 4 cards (I have HUGE plans to stamp all weekend!!) but I have put together a couple of cute little hostess gifts

Not Another Blog!!!

LOL, this is officially my third Blogger site!! Not much activity on the other two and I thought I should keep my new adventure separate from my family life.

So.............. this is where I will live my life as an Independant Stampin' Up! Demonstrator!!

I am very excited as I have been stamping, scrapping and crafting forever and now I get to do it as a job!! How cool is that!! If I want time to scrap or make cards, hubby HAS to look after the kids because I HAVE TO WORK!!!!!

If anybody else out there think this sounds like a good plan, feel free to contact me about joining up :D

I am still waiting on my kit so until then I have no photos or samples to post, but I will soon! So many ideas running through my head at the moment!

I am booking workshops from the end of October so if anybody would like to hold one, please let me know!!

Mwah!
