First Stamp A Stack and more to share

Ok, I know I promised these pictures ages ago but life has been a bit nuts lately. My 2 year old daughter split her forehead last week and has reopened the wound twice more since involving numerous trips to Emergency and the GP!!

So here are the pics of the cards we did/are doing for this month's Stamp A Stack (SAS)

These cards are using the new In Colours Tangerine Tango and Kiwi Kiss, Haiku Designer Series Paper and the Garden Whimsey Stamp set along with the Best Yet (level 1 hostess set) stamp set.

So after doing my first SAS, I will be making a few changes for the next one. I won't be doing as many cards as 4 designs was just a bit too much. Took too long and the novelty wore off after the third I think!! So next time will most likely be 6 cards (3 designs x 2) for $12.

I have made another couple of cards too that I thought I would share. I mentioned in a previous post that I earned 12 free stamp sets and $200 in free product just by doing what I love, being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. Well, I got my goodies this week but didn't have a chance to use them until today. I had a few fellow demonstrators over to play with our toys :D

This is what I came up with.....

Ok so the main stamp set used here is Fifth Avenue Florals, then the sentiment uses On Your Birthday and Frames with a Flourish. The cardstock I used on this card was Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip and Whisper White. Inks were Chocolate Chip, Kiwi Kiss & Baja Breeze. I used the eyelet border punch (a new toy!) and the ribbon is Very Vanilla 1/4" grosgrain.

Fifth Avenue Florals has got to be one of the most gorgeous sets in the new catalogue. It is so versatile. I will have another couple of cards done with this set shortly done using a special watercolour technique that is all the rage at the moment, so stay tuned!!

This next card is for a christening I am going to tomorrow but could be adapted to fit most occasions I think.

The stamps are from Always and On Your Birthday. Cardstock & Ink colours are Lovely Lilac and Pale Plum. Ribbon is lovely lilac which is unfortunately retired. The hearts have been stamped in lovey lilac ink and then stamped again with Versamark (using the Stamp A Majig) and then I used Heat & Stick Powder and Dazzling Diamonds to bling it up a bit. I have also used a Cuttlebug embossing folder in the background.

Ok, that's it for me for now. I have a week off work so hoping to have LOTS to show you next week :)

Happy Stamping!
