Here are the colours......

I was not over the moon about it when I made it, but it is slowly growing on me! I especially like the little ric rac squiggles which are my latest fascination. Be prepared to learn them if you do a workshop with me in the near future!!

I have been busy!!
I have been busy this week! Made 3 going away gifts and 10 cards for a charity event. All over 2 nights - phew!!
Now the first one I have to show you uses retired product but can easily be reproduced using whatever you have at home. I have been thinking of running this as a class so let me know if you are interested :)
So, its a chocolate wallet with individually wrapped chocolate sticks covered in matching DSP. I have also done these with ribbon holding them closed but for these ones I used velcro dots.
Stamp Set: Oval All (retired)
Cardstock: Baja Breeze, Whisper White, A Walk in the Park DSP (retired)
Accessories: Baja Breeze Ink, Not Quite Navy Ink, Scallop Oval Punch, Large Oval Punch
The next one was for a going away present for one of the girls at work. We work in a bank so I figured Post-its would come in handy. I wanted a large block and decided the colourful ones would be nice, so needed colourful paper to match! Luckily I had just bought the Pink Flamingo DSP in the Inventory Clearance Sale!!
And these next few cards are some I made for a charity event being held by my fellow demo Madonna Dunn (www.madonnadunn.com)
Both of these cards use the same supplies
Stamp Sets: Vintage Labels (SAB Set)
Cardstock: Baka Breeze, Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, Kraft, Parisian Breeze DSP (retired)
Accessories: Baja Breeze Ink, Chocolate Chip Ink, Baja Breeze Striped Grosgrain ribbon, 1-1/4" square punch, scallop edge punch
The next two use the Rock and Roll technique on the sentiment which is quite subtle so hard to see in the picture.
Stamp Set: On Your Birthday
Cardstock: Old Olive, Tangerine Tango, Whisper White, Haiku DSP
Accessories: Old Olive Ink, Tangerine Tango Ink, Tangerine Tango striped grosgrain ribbon, scallop edge punch, gold brads
The last one is a variation on a swap I received at Perth Regionals. The original was made by Jeanne Orr, I can't find a blog to link for Jeanne but thank her for the inspiration!
Stamp Sets: On Your Birthday, Sprinkles
Cardstock: Baja Breeze, Cameo Coral, Very Vanilla, Walk in the Park DSP (retired)
Accessories: Baja Breeze Ink, Cameo Coral Ink, Basic Grey Ink, Baja Breeze striped grosgrain ribbon, 1-1/4" square punch, scallop edge punch, slot punch
Ok, thats it for me now BUT I am plannign on giving away some blog candy just to see if anybody is actually reading!! So check back soon to see what I come up with!

Happy 2010!!
Apologies for my lack of posting. Had a bit of a break over Christmas & New Year, but I am back to business now!
Haven't got much to show you but here is what I have done :)
I am really enjoying using the Simply Scrappin' Kits at the moment. They are a great, easy way to scrap and you can step them up to suit your tastes :)
Here is a page I did using the 'I Wish' Simply Scrappin' Kit
Supplies: 'I Wish' Simply Scrappin' Kit, Frames with a Flourish stamp set, Short Order Alphabet stamp set, Simple Serif Mini Alphabet stamp set, Scallop Edge punch, On Board Loads of Letters chipboard, Ridinghood Red Classic Stampin Pad, Whisper White Craft Stampin Pad, Encore Gold Ink Pad, Stampin Write Markers
I am a member of the Elite Stampers which is a wonderful team full of ladies that offer support, suggestions and inspiration :) This year, I participated in a Secret Santa on the forum. My lovely secret santa bought me an On Board Art Journal and the gorgeous new Designer Series Paper from the Summer Mini. It's called Kaleidoscope and it is just beautiful. So much better in person than it looks in the catalogue!
Anyway! I made myself a Memory Book using the journal and the DSP so I can record all the funny/cute/memorable things my kids say or do. There is 50 sheets in the journal so I figure I have plenty of room for both kids in the same book. One side has Alannah and then you flip it over and it becomes Ryan's book :) I have used the Spiral punch to help fit the papers easily over the cover.
Here is the cover of Alannah's side of the book
It uses the pink, girly papers from the Kaleidoscope pack and some felt thickers I had lying about. Simple, the papers are so lovely they didn't need much to enhance them :)
Then the inside of Alannah's side....
Ryan's side uses the more boyish papers in Kaleidoscope. It is a very unisex set, has a bit for everyone :) Then it also has the same felt thickers as Alannah's side.
And the inside.....
Thanks for looking, stay tuned for the details of Sale-A-Bration which starts on 25 Jan and don't forget about the Inventory Clearance Sale that ends on 24th January. Most stock is still available, Jumbo Outline Alphabet, Just Riding and Wild West Alphabet have sold out so far.
Enjoy the rest of your week!
